Refund Policy
We want pdftoxlsx.com to be the right tool for you. If it isn't, we'll give you your money back — no awkward forms, no "please tell us why" survey, no friction. This page explains both our voluntary money-back guarantee and your statutory rights as an EU consumer.
1. 30-day money-back guarantee
What it covers. Any first-time paid subscription to pdftoxlsx.com (Starter, Professional or Business plan, monthly or annual). Within 30 days of your initial paid charge you can request a full refund of that charge — no reason needed.
How to request it. Email hello@pdftoxlsx.comfrom the address on your account with the subject "Refund request". We confirm within 1 business day and the refund hits your card in 5–10 business days (Stripe processing time).
What it doesn't cover.The guarantee is once per customer — if you cancel, get a refund, then re-subscribe later, the second subscription is no longer eligible. It also doesn't cover renewals after the first 30 days; cancel before the renewal date if you don't want to be charged again.
2. EU statutory cooling-off period (14 days)
As an EU consumer you also have a separate right of withdrawal under Ley 2/2015 (TRLGDCU) art. 102 implementing EU Directive 2011/83/EU: within 14 calendar days of subscribing you may cancel for any reason and obtain a full refund.
The 30-day money-back guarantee above is voluntary on top of this and does not replace your statutory right. If both apply, the more favourable one (30 days) is the one we honour.
How to exercise the cooling-off right. Same channel as above — email hello@pdftoxlsx.com. You can also use the standard withdrawal form annexed to the directive; we accept any clear statement of intent.
3. Cancellation vs refund
Cancelling stops future renewals — you keep paid access until the end of the period you already paid for. Refunding returns your money and ends paid access immediately.
You can cancel any time from the customer portal (Account → Billing → Manage subscription). Cancellations don't need to go through email.
4. Annual plans
The 30-day guarantee applies to annual plans the same way as monthly. Beyond day 30, annual subscriptions are non-refundable for the remainder of the term, but you keep access until the renewal date.
5. Disputes and chargebacks
If something feels wrong, please email us first — we are based in Spain and reachable on European business hours. If you start a chargeback before contacting us, we'll still try to resolve it but it makes the process slower for both sides.
